Books, Legos, puzzles, crayons, games, CDs, paint, paper, and more, the response certainly exceeded our expectations. Over the last two months the Ambassadors Foundation has been gathering school supplies and other items to support the Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation. We recently partnered with them to build a library at the Don Bosco School in a rural community outside San Jose, Costa Rica. We reached out to the generous staff at Ambassadors Group as well as to alumni, students, and teachers requesting items. Their response was overwhelming. In particular, the Children’s Garden Preschool in Helena, Montana, went above and beyond in gathering supplies, and preschoolers at this school exchanged messages and letters with preschoolers in Costa Rica.
We thank all of those who gave. Thanks to them, 10 large boxes filled to the brim with supplies will be sent to benefit students and education in Costa Rica. Learn more about the important work the Costa Rican Humanitarian Foundation is doing by visiting their website at www.crhf.org.
