ASF has awarded over $275,000 in scholarships to support student volunteerism, study, and travel at home and abroad in the last three years. Scholarships are open to any student traveling with a legitimate service or educational travel organization.
$175,000! That’s how much students have raised using ASF’s FUNDRAISING RESOURCE CENTER. ASF imports unique handmade items from around the world for students to sell to raise funds. All or some of the proceeds are then sent back to aid the communities the items come from. A small portion of the proceeds are also sometimes used to fund scholarships. The Ambassador Scholarship Foundation funds a variety of educational projects. Examples of past projects include the construction of a library in rural Costa Rica, providing school supplies for schools in Nicaragua, and sponsoring the attendance of students and educators at the International Student Leadership Summit
The Ambassadors Scholarship Foundation was started in 2008 to provide educational travel opportunities for students who couldn’t afford them. In 2010, the mission of the Foundation was expanded beyond student travel to include funding educational projects and disaster recovery. When funding scholarships, projects, or disaster recovery, the Ambassadors Scholarship Foundation strives to support individuals and organizations that are aligned with these fundamental foundation values: honesty, personal growth, passion, excellence, and service.
